PIXO TAP
PIXO TAP
| Android |

About us
Current status: in development. PIXO TAP is still in development, and some platforms and features are not released. The status below follows the download page and the release records.
Who we are
PIXO TAP is desktop software built by a small team. It helps you pick up progress across several long-running tasks. Once you start recording, the software organises your work context on your device and writes recovery notes, so you can carry on quickly next time.
Team and operator details: [team description and operator name, to be provided by the owner].
Our principles
- Minimal collection. Nothing is recorded by default. Recording starts only when you click start and grant permission in the system, and each kind of collection can be turned off at any time.
- Local first. Original screenshots, photos, original file contents and clipboard text stay on your device and are not uploaded.
- No sale of data, no advertising tracking. The website has no ads and no third-party tracking scripts, and the public pages set no cookies.
- Consent can be withdrawn and data can be taken with you. In the account centre you can withdraw consent, export your data and request account deletion (deletion has a 14-day grace period that you can cancel).
- Limits stated plainly. Desktop recognition on macOS and Linux covers the whole screen, so tidy your desktop first. On GNOME Wayland the foreground window cannot be read.
Current status
| Platform | Status |
|---|---|
| Windows | Trial stage; the installer and ZIP package are on the download page |
| Linux | Early release (x86_64 only); one-line installer, or a tar.gz on the download page |
| macOS | Experimental; no download for now; account sign-in is not yet connected |
| Android | In development; not released |
| iOS | Not available; there is no usable version |
| Physical desk companion | Still a concept; the software works on its own |
Feature status
- AI analysis (experimental, optional): requires your own DeepSeek key and must be triggered by you. Without a key or when offline, only a local summary is built.
- Sync (not open yet): off by default; the clients do not sync any data at present.
- Account sign-in (in development and deployment): sign-in is not available until the production sign-in service is live.
- Camera photo (optional): taken only at the end of a session, and only if you turn it on.
Contact us
- General enquiries, privacy and data requests, complaints: [contact email]. There is no separate complaint form yet, so please email us directly.
